Window Air Conditioner
This window air conditioner in Woodbridge Virginia does not exactly fit into the hole cut to accommodate it. You can see many things - large gaps, improper flashing under the roof shingles, siding that does not match between the main house and addition, that the AC unit is not resting on the 2x4 provided for it as a ledge. What is not visible in this photo is that the addition is actually racking to the side, which is why that unit is not on the ledge any more. That paint is peeling because that wall is not insulated on the inside!
