Deck Trampoline

When walking down these deck stairs I was impressed, and a little scared, by the amount of bounce the stairs had to offer!  Immediately I wondered if it was going to collapse before I got to the bottom.  Getting there and having a look, it wasn't hard to determine why.  Improperly placed, the stairs needed additional support.  When that nailed (not bolted) support moved, they added more!  And eventually a couple of nailed on 2x4's at the bottom for good measure.  You could add more support all you wanted and it would not improve this installation.  It was very dangerous.  If something looks unprofessionally done, it probably is!  Stay away!
