Foundation Repaired With Polyfoam
This is a crumbling foundation wall repaired by an Arlington Virginia homeowner. Yes, that is poly-foam used to cement the concrete blocks back together! This is part of the reason that the foundation wall and brick veneer on the outside of it are both moving and sinking. The other reason is that the driveway right outside this wall is angled toward the house and water is not diverted away from the house, but into the foundation wall. So, they tried to waterproof at the same time. When in doubt as to how to fix something, it is best to go with a professional.
